For a few weeks now I have been writing some posts for the Moms Talk Network and expanding my blogging horizons. I’ve been writing more content related posts and guess what? I like it! And I’m hoping you will too.
Don’t worry, there will still be motherhood musings and most importantly photos of the boys, the dogs and our mountain life. But just for fun I am going to mix in a few resource based posts for moms and mavens and well, pretty much anyone who will listen and/or feels like being mildly entertained.
I collect so much interesting clutter on the internet so now I’m going to share it with you! I was hoping to call this a Friday File but considering it is Saturday…
Anyway – let's begin!
I’m starting with DIY Sweater Mittens. Now I don’t have the time to do this myself but I really hope someone who reads this and is close to me does. Only because; I really want to see the result. So if you actually take this on, please send me a photo. I love this blog in general – so many cool and creative DIY ideas
I SO wish I had the time to do this. I have so many sweaters I have shrunk into oblivion…
OK moving on:
The second thing I have to share with you are these completely adorable kid’s art prints that I found on Babyology.com Basically these 'Spineless Classics' are prints that are conceptual blocks of writing shaped to depict a character or tenet of the story contained within the image, which is an ENTIRE book! Our boys’ room is still in flux but I would LOVE these for a kids room in the future. Maybe these can be DIY as well? Anyone?

If there is anyone out there on Facebook (well, who isn't?) you undoubtedly already have or will have to change to the dreaded Timeline. Well, fear not for your cover page because there are a number of ways to customize that cover page so your timeline is all about you. I did a collage for my own timeline that my betrothed called ‘busy’. What does he know? And yes I am BUSY which is why I did mine at 3 am when I couldn’t sleep.
Create yours with this great tutorial from yet another awesome blog called A2ZHomeStories
Finally this has to be one of the coolest things I’ve seen done with recycled tires in a long time. Remember the recycled tire shoulder bags and makeup bags that seemed to be everywhere about ten years ago? And everyone has seen the redneck use of painted white tire planters… Well, recycling fanatics and culture mavens will be duly impressed with this one on all levels. These pieces of tire art by Belgian artist Win Delvoye are fabulous and I found them on Junk Culture.com. They are beautiful and deserve some love. I’d love to have one on my wall…
So there you have my ‘KpShares’ for this week. Hope you found something inspiring!
